Full Circle Farms
Contact: William Brown 425-333-4677
I have spent some time out at the Full Circle Farms with my family and truly believe that Full Circle Farms is a northwest treasure. All summer and fall we will be getting deliveries direct from the farm at least 3 times a week. Currently we are enjoying baby lettuce, radishes, zucchini, romaine, carrots, herbs, berries, asparagus, and tomatoes (within this month).
Westcott Bay
Contact: Chris Minney 360-378-9792
Wescott Bay is on the shoreline of the San Juan Islands near the Canadian border. I was first introduced to Wescott Bay Seafood as a young boy on trips to visit the farm with my father, who is a marine biologist. The cold water of the Straits of Juan de Fuca and a commitment to excellence makes the shellfish extraordinary. The shellfish is pulled from the water the very morning we are serving it to you and carry the essence of a pristine bi-valve.
Lazy River Farms
Contact: 206-963-5079
Lazy River Farms is a small u-pick farm in Kent, Washington that also has a strong CSA following. The Vi kitchen staff took a great trip down there early one morning to load up on blueberries. We used those berries in a preserve that we are going to use on our cheese board through out the fall and winter.
Kings Garden
Contact: Anne Utigard 509-429-3330
The King’s Garden is located 4 miles north of Tonasket W.A. in the Okanogan Valley just off Hwy 97 along the lovely Okanogan River. The high elevation of the farm allows them to allows them to plant 2 months later than most Western Washington farms and yields them terrific results. We will be using their fresh organic peppers, melons, squash, gooseberries, tomatillos, beans and specialty heirloom tomatoes well into October!
Art and Luke Peterson
I Have known these fisherman since I was a boy. Art is a regular on the Discovery channels show Deadliest Catch. He fishes on the boat “The Wizard”. During the summer they purchase a Sound Catch license which allows them to fish the Washington waters and sell direct to restaurants. We have been serving delicious Washington King Salmon for the last couple weeks that is fresh off their boat.
Baird Orchards
Contact: Robyn Thompson 206-499-6312
With fall around the corner we will be looking to Baird Orchards to provide us with beautiful apples. We will be buying garlic ,apples, and potatoes direct from the orchard late summer and through the fall. They have been a great help in finding the best common apples while having the orchard size to get us crab apples, winter bananas and tsagano apples. I look forward to showcasing their product every fall.
